On playing seven matches in October… “Our team is tremendously better than that first game, and we’ve grown a lot in this last month. And today was all about getting past this month of craziness with multiple games and finishing on a positive note, which we did.”
Spokane Zephyr Head Coach Jo Johnson:
On the result in Brooklyn… “We know road points are hard to come by, and to find success on the road, we need to improve our decision making and technical execution. We will get back to work and treat this game as a valuable learning experience as we navigate this road stretch.”

Young players play without fear and every time we’ve given Sealey an opportunity, she’s played without fear. I’m just so happy for her this evening.”
Dallas Trinity goalscorer Sealey Strawn:
On her first professional goal… “As soon as it hit the back of the net, I was jumping over the keeper and as I landed, that’s when it hit me. I let out the biggest yell.
