Dallas Trinity kept its foot on the gas Friday night when the team secured its first win by defeating Lexington 6-2 at the Cotton Bowl. Arlington, Texas native Allie Thornton scored the league’s first hat trick, Chioma Ubogagu recorded the league’s first brace and Amber Brooks also got on the score sheet in the historic win.

Fort Lauderdale United won its first match on Friday on the road against DC Power. Addie McCain and Jasmine Hamid each scored their second goals of the season in the first half, and the team held on to the 2-0 lead to take home the win.

A goal from Isabel Cox in the 23rd minute proved to be the game-winner for Brooklyn, helping the team earn its first win in its second match of the season. Hope Breslin was also credited with Brooklyn’s first-ever assist.

Carolina Ascent picked up a 2-0 win over Spokane Zephyr on Sunday, putting its record at 3-0-1. Mia Corbin, a Washington native, scored the opening goal in her home state, and Sydney Studer doubled the lead with her first goal of the season.
